In response to the Government legislation requiring all staff who deliver frontline health and social care services regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by 31st March 2022, Alison Page and Paul Martin have written to leaders in the GM Health and Social Care Partnership as co-chairs of the VCSE Leadership Group Commissioning workstream. The letter outlines some of the key considerations in relation to the VCSE sector workforce and proposes a series of next steps to ensure the accurate interpretation of the requirement, and to ensure that clear guidance and support is provided to our VCSE sector.
